Lil Wyte's next album to be fully produced by DJ Paul!

Hello, and welcome to my blog, reimagined! I thought this was a great way to start the new chapter of this blog. As I stated earlier, I will no longer be posting download links for albums in iTunes quality, if you want to enjoy those albums you'll have to subscribe to apple music like me! Lol. But anyways, here we go. I'm pretty excited about this! Lil Wyte posted on IG that his next album is to be fully produced by DJ Paul, so naturally most fans are excited, me included. That being said, I think we need to be realistic. It won't be "Doubt Me Now." I'm glad, it shouldn't be. Doubt Me Now was created when he was like 20, and the worst thing is when a rapper tries to recreate what they were 20 years ago. So if you go into this expecting it to be Doubt Me Now 2.0, you'll probably be disappointed, but if you keep an open mind and accept Wyte for what he is now, you should enjoy it. There was a time when I used to want Doubt Me Now 2.0 as well, but then I realized how impossible that is and I actually like the way he's evolved as an artist over the years. So what do you expect from this album and what would you want to see? For me, I'd like to first of all see an album longer than just 12 tracks this time, especially since he hasn't released a solo album since 2018. When it comes to features, it would be cool to see him and Rittz work together again, or to finally have Paul get him and Yelawolf on a track together which is long overdue. A Seed of 6Ix feature would also always be welcome. When it comes to who he's been working with lately, I definitely wouldn't mind hearing features from Chad Armes or 501Bryze. If we're talking legends, obviously Project Pat would be amazing, or even Bun B but I know that's a reach. I'd also like to see him and Frayser Boy collab again, though I doubt that will happen with Paul producing. Sidenote: are Wyte and Frayser still cool? I'm just wondering because I haven't seen them interact in a long time, seems like they've gone in different directions after 2016 or so. Either way, I'm really excited for this album! I loved his self-titled album from 2018, and even "No Sick Days" from 2014, which I slept on hard as a childish and immature teenager but now appreciate far more as a more mature adult.I would obviously also love to hear Wyte over some Juicy J beats again, but I don't expect that to be happening any time soon either sadly.

Update

Hello. Yes, I'm still alive. I'm sure nobody is here anymore, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for completely disappearing without any notice. At the time, I just wasn't into it anymore. Posting was always fun back in the days of albumfiend and being part of the community, but after that shut down I wasn't getting much out of it anymore. I never made any money from this, I never wanted to risk it and thought it too risky. Not only that, but with a lot of the music I started getting into, and am still into now, it is mostly from underground or lesser known artists, and I didn't feel that I should be posting their music for free. If I can subscribe to iTunes match and apple music, than others can as well. It is highly unlikely that I will ever post again, at least the kind of content that I used to. However, I feel like I may just make posts about music, even though nobody is probably here at this point, I want to do it just for me at the very least. I'm sorry for the inconvenience if you happen to stumble on this blog, but I just won't be doing that at this point anymore, especially with how much many listener's habits have changed due to streaming. It was fun while it lasted, but now it's time for a new chapter. I should've said this years ago, when I thought it unlikely that I would return, but I kept thinking that maybe I would someday. But now, I'm ready to move on. I may still share music I think people should check out, but it will be up to you to purchase it. Sincerely, Icy Wyte!
